
Peter Weingard is the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at New York Public Radio. Peter leads marketing across the platforms and programs of New York Public Radio, including radio stations WNYC FM and AM, WQXR, and the four stations of New Jersey Public Radio; Radiolab and Freakonomics Radio; The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space; and other broadcast and digital properties.
Before joining New York Public Radio, Peter was part of the management team that built and grew Food Network’s mobile dining reservations business, CityEats, from concept through multi-million dollar exit in under three years. Prior to his work at Food Network, Peter led global marketing for Collective as the company grew from a startup to a $200M+ advertising technology leader, named as one of Business Insider’s most valuable private companies. Before joining Collective, Peter built and led a product development team at The New York Times where he created the “Times on Air” video syndication platform, and earlier had led digital direct marketing for the world’s largest producer and marketer of live entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment (now Live Nation).
