Oline Event View mapIn this series, the Amazon Sumerian team will be looking at real-world, enterprise applications and how to build them. This week, we welcome Electronic Caregiver, a company specialized in delivering health and crisis monitoring and response equipment and technology. In this episode, we will learn how they built a scene for medication notifications using a custom Host. More specifically, they will demonstrate how to pull data from a database, displaying and modifying the data in Sumerian and the writing back responses to the database.
Incorporating emerging technologies to improve training and presentations is a request we have received from customers across nearly all industries. This is a real-world application with immediate use for individual developers, designers, start-up companies, and large enterprises.
Amazon Sumerian lets you create and run virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 3D applications quickly and easily without requiring any specialized programming or 3D graphics expertise. With Sumerian, you can build highly immersive and interactive scenes that run on popular hardware such as Oculus Go, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, HTC Vive Pro, Google Daydream, and Lenovo Mirage as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
