Shep Maher has over fifteen years of experience driving revenue, building world-class teams, and establishing sustainable, collaborative, and winning cultures as a sales leader. As the Senior Vice President of Sales for GuideSpark, Shep is responsible for revenue development and retention. His teams work closely with clients to deliver the solution they need. Prior to GuideSpark, Shep held various sales and account management leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for revenue growth, margin improvement, and cross-selling across Thomson Reuters’ Corporate businesses in the Americas. In addition, Shep helped to launch a number of new products and new geographies for Thomson Reuters. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Shep held sales and leadership roles at NewRiver Inc., Merrill Corporation, Corporate Communications Broadcast Network (CCBN), and SNL Financial. Shep holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar. Shep serves his community, supporting JUMA Ventures, Wall Street Wizards, Habitat for Humanity, and the San Francisco Food Bank. Shep sits on the board of America SCORES Bay Area, where he has served for close to a decade. Prior to becoming a father of three children, Shep was an avid marathoner, open water swimmer, and triathlete. Today, he coaches youth baseball, soccer, and flag football and tries to sneak in a quick run or swim when he can.
