Sheng Jie (SJ) is currently pursuing his career at Liberty Mutual as Asia Market Head of Marketing, Digital Experience, Distribution Analytics & Technology, focusing on Digital Transformation in Asia MCM. Prior to this, he served as Vice President, Head of Distribution (Singapore), as well as Senior Business Consultant in Liberty’s Corporate Development Program (CDP), a 2 year post MBA leadership development program. The program consists of 4 rotational assignments across various business functions globally, aimed at developing business & management capabilities in a Fortune 100 business. Key projects include the development/conceptualisation of Liberty’s global cyber product proposition in the SME space and strategic transformation for Liberty’s Singapore/Hong Kong offices.

He was a Nanyang-Waseda Double Degree MBA candidate (JASSO scholar) (Nanyang Business School- Singapore; Waseda Business School- Tokyo, Japan), placed on the Dean’s Honour List (Top 10% of cohort, graduating class of 2017). He was also a SIA Overseas Managers Scheme Candidate, at Singapore Airlines. Core competencies include strategic planning/implementation, negotiations, data analytics, design thinking and team leadership.

During his personal time, Sheng Jie is an avid footballer & golfer. He is also passionate in mentoring/coaching youths on self efficacy.
