Brent Hyder

I lead Salesforce’s Employee Success organization, which is on the front lines of making sure Salesforce’s award-winning culture continues to thrive. Our team is dedicated to hiring and engaging tens of thousands of employees around the world. I am responsible for driving Salesforce’s companywide people strategy and leading all aspects of Employee Success, including the company’s Equality initiatives, equal pay assessment, workforce planning, and talent experience.

Before joining Salesforce I spent 15 years at Gap Inc. where I was the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. I oversaw all aspects of human resources, including the company’s equal pay, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, talent management, employee engagement, and recruiting. Additionally, I led communications, global sustainability, and the Gap Foundation. In my time at Gap, I also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Gap Brand and as the Vice President, General Manager and Representative Director of Gap Japan KK.

Outside of work I am the proud father of 3, and grandfather of 7! I also proudly serve on the Board of Directors of Enterprise for Youth, a Bay-area non-profit that helps under-resourced youth reach their potential through transformative paid internship experiences.
