The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted global supply chains, investment, demands, and purchasing power, and shifted investor risk appetite and increased financial volatility and instability. These impacts could jeopardize the progress of economic integration by hindering cross-border goods and services flows, people movement, and financial mobility.

This ADBI-Chulalongkorn University virtual conference will discuss COVID-19’s impacts on trade, investment, and financial markets in Asia and measures for building post-pandemic economic integration. It will focus on the role of digitalization, technological advancement, trade in services and creative products, and environmental, social, and governance investment in boosting economic resilience and sustainable development.
